I love quilter's pins! Being a fashion designer specializing in fall/winter wears, fashion pins just don't do the job. I would not be able to do the quality of work that I do without these pins. Quilter's pins are longer enabling you to pin much more amount of fabric.
You can get these on Amazon or any sewing supply store. They always have a yellow ball on the top and comes in a pack of 500.
